So… his argument for reelection is that we should make it a tough eight?

Maybe he means “The next four couldn’t be worse.”
But I know it can. Oh, yes, it can.
Well, we just need to get those 57 states to raise taxes………..of wait………….never mind.
Sad part is, some college professor’s would say that there are 57 states.
I think he is just setting up for post-election excuses. “The last four years were tough, and it was Bush’s fault, that’s why we lost”.
If by “tough” he means suffering under a tyrannical attack on freedom and liberty then, yes, it’s been a tough four years.
I can see his point, it’ll toughen us up for the next tough eight years of a Hillary presidency.
Actually,this one’s better than most of the other reasons I’ve heard the donkeys give for reelecting the SCOAMF.
That’s not to say it’s a good reason, however.
Perhaps his next 25 years to life will be easier.
