A: According to the United Nations, European Union, and Arab League – only if the Hezbollah-funded hospital is full of Jews.
Bah! Rocket-schmocket. A few second-hand Soviet cold war ballistic missiles sold to Hezbollah with the warheads “accidentally” set to go straight up & straight back down (or making a sharp right into Tehran…) would solve the problem nicely.

But take it further – if I were a towel headed nut-job I’d worry that the Israeli’s have only just begun. And if I lived over in Hezbollah Estates I would be REAL worried about my future real estate values… Heck, I’d be real worried about my future period.
We’re working evacs hard over there to get our people out and yet the press seems to be remarkably (sullenly almost) quiet. The press LOVES to see Americans die… so why aren’t they sending in the clowns to watch the evacuations? (CNN, Al Jazeera, CBS, etc…) (Methinks they’ve been told to “Wear this handy bullseye helmet, please.”)
I’d hazard a guess that the giant pile of fertilizer is going to hit the rotary blade about 2 seconds after our evacuees are cleared out as best possible and the world’s press corps are afraid to get a boo-boo since the mean ol’ Israeli’s have real bullets and actually shoot them.

Israel did not shell the beach where those Palestinians died. It was an own goal by Hamas, who exploded an artillery shell in the crowd, and then ginned up a video as proof. Shrapnel from the attack shows that it was not of Israeli origin, and the timing was wrong for it to be an Israeli attack.
And besides, Hamas in Gaza was busy raining down kassams on Israel for weeks before that particular incident on the beach. Even if Israel did hit the beach, it was still after Israel was attacked by Hamas.
Then there’s the not so insignficant matter that Israel was invaded twice – once by Hamas to capture Shalit (killing two other Israelis), the second time by Hizbullah across the Lebanese border (killing 8 Israelis and capturing two).
What was Hizbullah’s reason for getting involved?

There’s a ‘proportionate’ response for you: Sharon visits a hill that a mosque sits upon and the Palestinians justify a wave of suicide bombings agianst Israeli civilians.

Yasser Arafat and Marwan Barghouti’s own papers show that they had planned the 2nd intefada several months before Sharon’s visit. Waspons, lines of communication, funds, training, and volunteers (some of which weren’t volunteers at all, but had their relatives in PLO jails and were charged with assisting Israel… under penalty of death, only to be commuted by… Arafat).
They were looking for something to use as an excuse to start up their plans. And so they waited, Sharon then planned his visit, and then they set off the plans.
It was not a sporadic uprising and the media says it was. It was all a planned terror campaign, the brainchild of Yasser Arafat and funded by all of the EU and Arab League and US funds he’d stolen over the years.
