Remember to Digg

If you like an IMAO article, remember to click on the “Digg This” link. This could help us reach a bigger audience. It just takes a short registration to start up.
So, if you liked my editorial today, remember to register that with Digg. If you didn’t like it, keep it to yourself or I’ll hurt you.
And I will, ’cause I’m crazy.
UPDATE: Monkey-faced liberal don’t want you to Digg IMAO posts; who do you side with?

  1. FrankJ:
You are articulating more of your violent fantasies than usual on IMAO.
    In this post we have:
“If you didn’t like it, keep it to yourself or I’ll hurt you.”
and in other recent posts we have you saying:
“The only way to defeat a liberal is with numerous whacks to the head with a stick.”
    and
“any real Republicans, … wants to hit Moore with a ax handle because he is a fat, ugly man.”
    and finally, your dream where:
“Rowdi grabs the monkey by its neck, and, within a second, kills it bloodlessly.”
I am curious — are you describing these violent adolescent fantasies because:
    1) These fantasies allow you to distract yourself from the fact that U.S. policy in Iraq has been an abysmal failure.
    2) TV Video and pictures of the death and destruction going on in Lebanon are “stirring you up” and these fantasies help you release your frustration at not being able to act violently yourself.
3)Internally you realize that you are a sad, pathetic hack who has been reduced to begging people to “digg” your posts in the vain hope your web site will one day become popular enough for you to be a professional writer. These fantasies are your way of lashing out at “the world” which is preventing you from securing the fame, money, and respect you crave.
    My money is on 3.
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal
    P.S. I didn’t like your editorial today.
P.P.S. Clearly, me and other Monkey Faced Liberals are the monkey in the dream. And you are the bitch.

  2. FrankJ:
On the contrary. I think people should click “Digg this” on your writing.
Like your most recent editorial — which I believe a total of 7 people have “digged” so far — Digging your writing will only help further demonstrate how much the general public (or at least the “digg it” public) hates your writing.
Maybe this will finally prompt you to devote some real thought and imagination to your writing, or (more realistically), find a new hobby.
    I hear bowling is fun.
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal

  3. FrankJ:
    I did already!
I mean, I did mark it as “Ok, This is Lame”. Because, well, it is.
But I did leave a comment!
    Yay!
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal
    P.S.
That monkey killing dream sounds very disturbing FrankJ. Have you thought about seeing a professional?
They might be able to help you deal with your anger issues.
Of course, they won’t be able to make you a good writer. There are limits to the powers of modern medicine.

  4. FrankJ!
I “digged” this post for you! — Check it out!
Hmmm. I wonder if it will be one of the most popular posts of the day! Cross your fingers!
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal
P.S. Fmragtops — I can see why you would not want to get involved in a forum like Digg.
How could the unwashed “pooh” flingers on Digg appreciate subtle cultural commentary like
“Hippies are great for testing the structural integrity of impaling pikes, gallows, guillotines and other instruments of death.”
Such biting satire is clearly beyond “The Digg Public’s” level of comprehension or appreciation.
Well, either that or they might think it is a violent adolescent fantasy of an unhinged wingnut.
And you wouldn’t want to read comments from Digg users telling you that. It might hurt your tender little ego.
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal

  5. FrankJ:
I was over on fmragtops site (by the way, between you and me, the guy is a bit of a freak. I mean, you seem to be functioning despite your anger management issues. Him — lets just say I wouldn’t be surprised to hear about him in a clock tower with a rifle anytime soon) and saw this interesting web site he links to.
So, I am curious — are you also on board with the “Victory Wing” of the Republican Party?
If so, I think you might want to reconsider how you are marketing the Victory Wing.
For instance, I do not think it is a good idea to use a stylized picture of one of the most embarrassing images of the Bush Presidency — his “Declaration of Victory” and “Mission Accomplished” on an aircraft carrier in May of 2003 — to sell your project.
After all, since that speech thousands of U.S. troops have been killed and hundreds of billions of U.S. dollars spent.
And to show for it, what do we have?
Chaos in the streets of Baghdad as sectarian militias run loose murdering thousands of civilians and picking off American soldiers.
Doesn’t really inspire confidence in the Republican vision or understanding of “Victory”, is what I am saying.
At this point, I think an image of an elephant would work a bit better.
They eat peanuts, and the kids love ’em.
    Just some free advice.
    Peace,
    Jason

  6. With apologies to this site:
Digg! Digg! Digg! And your blogstats will grow big,
    Keep on pushing the bits,
    Don’t mind the lib’ral worms,
    Just ignore their squirms,
And when they troll you, call them nits* —
    And keep on diggin’
Till you give your foes a whiggin’:
    Digg! Digg! Digg! to Victory!”
*or some other, ahem, round term of abuse — but that would have gotten stuck in the comment filter…
I’ve never “dugg” before, but there’s a first time for everything. 😉

  7. FMRagtops:
“There’s a blog roll under that picture that does not contain IMAO, nor is that picture or blogroll on IMAO. Pay attention, boy.”
Uh, I know it is not on his blogroll.
Just because a link is not on someone’s blogroll does not mean I can not ask their opinion about it. (Or use it to tweak their chain about their previous support for Bush, and continued support for the war in Iraq).
Try to use your brain to “think outside the box” a little bit boy.
I know it is tough when you are as deluded as you are, but I really think if you work hard enough, you might be able to get in touch with reality, and comprehend an orginal though (if not create one).
That said, your comment begs the question — why don’t you have IMAO on your blogroll?
Not enough threats or discussion of killing, maiming or otherwise hurting people on the site?
Or do you, like me, just not find IMAO funny?
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal

  8. The mfl critter is such a typical liberal in not understanding it is the MINORITY voice around here, meaning the MAJORITY (99.9%) of us all think Frank’s site is way funny and worthwhile. Why do these dumbass, lunkhead liberals have such a hardtime grasping that concept?? It’s things like this that make me wish I could kneecap a mfl with a baseball bat, but that would continue to feed its masochistic fantasy, I’m certain.

  9. FrankJ:
Just wanted to update you on the status of your latest editorial becoming a “Digg” popular story.
Despite pleading in a post for your loyal readers to Digg your editorial, you only ended up with 18 Diggs.
Not good enough to get on the popular stories page. I think by around 80 “Digg It”s at least.
Of course, you are used to not being very popular anyway, aren’t your FrankJ?
That is why you play with the guns — you fantasize about hurting all those people who don’t like/accept/respect you.
Anyway, maybe if you replace the multitude of ads selling t-shirts on the IMAO with requests for readers to “digg” your posts you might be able to get on the popular page.
Or you could just not write crap. That is an option as well.
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal

  10. shimauma:
“The mfl critter is such a typical liberal in not understanding it is the MINORITY voice around here, meaning the MAJORITY (99.9%) of us all think Frank’s site is way funny and worthwhile.”
You seem a bit confused here. Do you mean I am a typical liberal in that I have a MINORITY opinion not shared by the MAJORITY?
A MINORITY Liberal opinion, such as, I don’t know, that the minimum wage should be raised? Oh yeah, I share that opinion with 85% of Americans, placing me in the MAJORITY.
I think actually you will find many of my other political opinions place me with the MAJORITY of other Americas. So I do not think this argument makes sense. (And not that I would necessarily care, or not contribute, if I was in the MINORITY, anyway.)
Or are you saying I do not understand that most of the people commenting on IMAO DO like FrankJ and the rest of the stuff on IMAO?
Really, I am not surprised that most of the mediocre minds that visit this site, such as USSjimmycarter, Captamerica, and FMRagtops, like IMAO.
But, regarding that, I am reminded of the immortal words of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog — “Seriously, I like you but then again, I eat my own poop.”
Just because people like someone or something doesn’t mean it is good, or that they have good taste.
(Not that FrankJ has to worry about many people liking his stuff, as his recent falling Alexa rankings and DIGG IT failures attest to).
“It’s things like this that make me wish I could kneecap a mfl with a baseball bat, but that would continue to feed its masochistic fantasy, I’m certain.”
Uh, shimauma, you seem to be confused. If you dream about kneecaping someone with a baseball bat, the imagined victim
does not have masochistic fantasies — you have sadistic fantasies.
I hope this cleared things up for you.
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal

  11. MFL, you are an idiot.
“So, I am curious — are you also on board with the “Victory Wing” of the Republican Party?”
    Your words, not mine, dipshit.
Oh, and had you read MY blogroll, you would have found IMAO. Victory Wing is a creation of Point Five. Frankj is a far too important and busy blogger to bother with us.
Now, as my good friend FIAR said, go eat a bullet.

  12. FMRagtops:
Ah, I finally get what you are trying to say.
You are saying that it was stupid of me to ask if IMAO was “on board with the “Victory Wing” of the Republican Party?” since it was not part of the blog roll under that picture.
I have to disagree with your assessment. I can still ask FrankJ if he is “on board with the Victory Wing” even if he is not “part of” that website.
After all, one does not have to be a contributor to a blog to support its objectives or philosophy. Right?
I was especially interested in asking him about his feelings on your website and its poster (great layout on the site, by the way) given his recent (understandable) decision to downplay his past support for Bush and the War in Iraq.
As I expected, though, no response from FrankJ. Sigh
“Frankj is a far too important and busy blogger to bother with us.”
Gosh. FrankJ is too important to bother with you?
I am reminded of a quote from “The Warriors”.
FivePoint must be “So far down, they ain’t even on the map.
“Now, as my good friend FIAR said, go eat a bullet.”
    Lovely. More violent fantasies.
Is that the best you can do? To recycle someone else’s suggestion that I kill himself?
And didn’t you get in enough time playing with your guns over the weekend to get these violent fantasies out of your system?
On the other hand, I, as a Monkey Faced Liberal, wish you and your family, peace, love and happiness.
    Peace,
    Monkey Faced Liberal
