Friday Catblogging

Since it’s Friday, I thought I’d spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka “I-MEOW”).
This is how I compensate for not having teh funny. Well, that and beating up Spacemonkey, but everybody does that these days.
Anyway, it’s time for Nardo the Unwise:

If you’re not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that “political humor” thing, it doesn’t. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Nardo is… um…
Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory.

You can find more examples of Friday catblogging by searching a blog search engine such as Technorati for “catblogging.”
You can also find a roundup of catblogging posts at The Friday Ark, located at The Modulator blog.
Then, when the weekend is nearly over, head over to The Carnival of the Cats for more kitty goodness.
There’s also Flickr Groups called Furry Friday and Friday Catblogging.
Anybody I miss?

  1. Dean, the former chairman of the DNC, strangly spontaniously combusted this weekend leaving the Democrats chairmanless on the eve of the elections. Quickly a replacement was chosen from their own ranks, and immediately, with pen and paper in paw, he set out to bring “dignaty” back to the party.

  2. “Dear Diary,
It’s been a good day. I chased two neighbor cats out of the yard, ate 2 spiders and one cricket (after playing with them first of course), and left a nice gift in Master Laurence’s shoe. I can’t wait for him to get dressed in the morning. Good times.”

  3. Nardo is obviously attempting to better himself by reading up– Now Nardo obviously “feels” a need to improve his lot in life and this can be directly linked to President Bush and the misguided policies of this administration. Rather than spending government “largess” on valuable after school programs like Midnight Kitty Basketball and (my personal favorite) Cup Stacking to boost the self image of those just like Nardo, the Bush administration has decided to squander tax dollars on “the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time”! Rather than being in a healthy collective where Nardo might learn to work in harmony with all those around him in a caring, sharing program sponsored by the kindly Uncle Sam, because of Bush, Cheney, Rice and Halliburtin Nardo is left at home, alone, to fend for himself! How much longer will it be before Nardo is freed from this repressive administration blah–blah–blah– I can’t even write this tripe without becoming bored with myself!
