Right. It’s not LIKE that. It IS that. Our politicians don’t throw people in jail for wanting freedom of speech. Our politicians don’t keep the general populace from emigrating to other countries.
Our politicians are certainly not perfect. As a native of Cook County whose current representatives in Washington are Anna Eshoo, Barbara Boxer, and Dianne Feinstein, I’m certainly aware of that. There is, however, no moral equivalence between them and the likes of Fidel Castro.
Bah! What is a dictator to do?! He can never make anyone happy! I mean, seriously! Who else but Castro would have put in his second string dictator just to maintain his excellent level of gloomy oppression even while on his deathbed?

Fidel is just another politician, not much more to it. The only difference being the American people have lots of guns.
