While idly flipping through the referer logs, I came across a useless site that someone clicked the IMAO link on. Here’s a screenshot:
You’re reading that right, we beat out www.adultschat.us, which came in a pathetic 46th place.
Moon Nuker Pride, Worldwide!
But IMAO is still just behind hotelsinlongdon.us.
Dang British!
We’re number thirty-two!! We’re number thirty-two!!
No, we are 32 AND 41 (how did that happen?). Add those together and IMAO cracks the top ten.
But we’re ahead of Pam Anderson! However that could be an uncomforable position in a crowded line or elevator.
I must admit I’m confused. I just did a search of the top websites in the US (not just .us, but all of them). According to Alexa, AOL.com is ranked 20th? Who goes to AOL.com anymore?
And, LinkedIn is ranked 10th?
And, here are some fun facts about IMAO.us, according to Alexa: “The site is relatively popular among users in the cities of South Bend (where it is ranked #576), Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York (#1,496), and Dallas-Fort Worth (#19,743). Compared with internet averages, the site’s audience tends to be over the age of 45; they are also disproportionately men earning over $30,000 who browse from home. Imao.us has been online for more than nine years, and search engines refer roughly 3% of visits to the site.”
