Frank once told me that, for any list, if you include just one really good line, you’ve got a winner of a post, and people will think you’re a genius.
In my experience, I’ve found that people will forgive a lot if you give them that one good one to really make their day.
I’d like to think my batting average is a little higher than that, but still, the premise gives me confidence to keep writing, even if I crank out of few clunkers here & there.
