Democrats see a problem, and their immediate solution is a new government program, staffed by government bureaucrats, funded by taxpayer dollars. In their heads, they think that solving a delicate problem with a crude and powerful tool will result in something like this:

But after running for a year and coming in billions of dollars over budget, the reality is inevitably more like this:
It never works. It always fails. They’re always surprised. They never learn. And yet they never stop coming back for more.
Kind of like how all the government “experts” bought into the idea that Facebook going public would be a huge success? AOL, Yahoo chatrooms, MySpace…next fad to be replaced, Facebook.
I’d trust that guy with the chainsaw more than I would any Democrat.
Doesn’t everyone use a chainsaw to open their beers? I know for a fact that Damn Cat has been known to use a McCulloch to open tuna cans when the can opener has gone missing.
