And, of course, we all know how respectful the Russians are of international law. Just ask Natan Sharansky or Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
I have often wondered why the UN doesn’t just rubber stamp anything we want to do…I guess it is our fault. We should always say “pass this mandate or get the heck out of the USA and pay your own bills.” I have also wondered why the UN hasn’t gone the way of the League of Nations…they seem equally ineffective at doing anything useful.
