Link of the Day: Apparently I Did Not Watch All the Batman Episodes

[High Praise! to Mental Floss]

A Visual Guide to All 37 Villains in the Batman TV Series

Exit question: Which five Batman villains also appeared in at least one episode of Star Trek: the Original Series (there’s only five that I recognize – let me know if it’s actually more)

  1. That’s only 36 villains (Anne Baxter played two of them). I actually remember them all; Batman was required watching when I was a young boy on Wednesday night, and then again on Thursday at same bat time, same bat channel.

  2. Since I am bored.

    Julie Newmar – Catwoman – Eleen (Friday’s child 1967)
Frank Gorshin – The Riddler – Bele – (Let that be your last battlefield 1969)
Joan Collins – The Siren – Sister Edith Wheeler (The City on the Edge of Forever 1967)
Malachi Throne – False Face – [Interesting] – Commodore Jose Mendez (The Menagerie Part I,II) AND in the Pilot Episode – Voice The Keeper [uncredited] (The Cage, released 1986) AND appear in TNG as Senator Pardek (Unification Part I,II 1991)
Lee Meriwether – Lisa – Losira – (That which survives 1969)*

*I would have to asterisk this though as she was Catwoman in the Movie from the original series but did not play a villain in the show. Her character was Lisa Carson who is styled at Wikipedia as “…a love interest to Bruce Wayne in the episodes “King Tut’s Coup” & “Batman’s Waterloo”.”

  3. Rather oddly Roger C Carmel does not make a lot of Villains list for Batman. Col. Gumm is his character. Roger was quoted as saying, “I was so bad that it took Batman and the Green Hornet to get me. I liked playing four different characters, like the crazy Russian stamp dealer, Boris Severoff.”
