….the natural gas system has been there for well over 100 years. The installations have been done and working since then. There were gas lights long before electric lights. Does this dope know anything about …anything?
Nobody putting in solar panels is having their gas furnace ripped out…or their stove…or their dryer etc.
Just wait til idiots spending $30,000 on solar panels realize they have to be replaced before they even finish paying for them.
The majority of manufacturers offer the 25-year standard solar panel warranty, which means that power output should not be less than 80% of rated power after 25 years
So 20% less output from something that only works 30% of the time as it is, what a great investment!
Even if the number of installations for natural gas is lower, I’d bet my bottom dollar that the energy produced by them is greater that produced by the solar installations.
@NO_MO_BAMA – Exactly. Most solar installations are retrofits. Most gas installations are new construction. During the Obama administration new home construction has been at it’s lowest, by far, of any similar period in the last 50 years. Had solar installation numbers stayed flat they would have improved in comparison to gas installations.
