I’m partial to Festivus.
There are few holidays left that are not platforms for the marketing experts.
Thanksgiving and Easter are my favorites as they have little in terms of marketing value and high marks for family getting together.
Thanksgiving can’t be beat. Great food and quality time with family that I spend most of the year avoiding. And no obligatory gift giving!
Arbor Day.
Trees are natures concrete, and I’m grateful for them.
Oktoberfest
Flag Day…it’s Don Trump’s Birthday!
Flag day, but because no one has a mattress sale in its honor.
Earth Day.
I love building bonfires out of old tires!
Buy a Gun Day.
It’s like Christmas only boomier.
While it has been commercialized I’ll still go with Christmas. I know of no other holiday I literally anticipate more and so far in advance.
Christmas, then Independence Day and Halloween.
Easter, for my family and I. We’re Christian, and I would argue it’s the most important holiday.
Then it’s Independence Day; celebrating the greatest country in the world with explosions and picnics. Beautiful.
