We’re coming up on the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. Those of us who remember the flight were probably young enough to not think about all the navigational hurdles that are involved in a flight to the moon. But, as I grew older, and the more I learned about the peculiarities of space travel, the more amazing it is to me that they actually accomplished the feat of landing on the moon and getting back.
