I do find it amusing that Lovecraft enjoys such popularity among the some scolds. Don’t get me wrong, I love his work regardless of his racist views. I’m just amazed how clueless and ignorant cancel culture is.

I think my take was inspired by hearing about a new HBO series, “Lovecraft Country,” set in the ’50s, in which “black characters face racism while battling the fictional creatures.” Turnabout’s fair play.
