This is a fairly old picture as the 19th FS was transferred from Elmendorf AFB, AK in 2010 to Hickom AFB HI and now flies the F-22. Pictured are F-15’s while the unit was based at EAFB from 1994 to 2010.
Make sure it’s not hot (tanks get too hot), make sure you’re not trying to loiter (ground support is not in the cards), make sure you don’t get hit by lightning (you’ll lose the electronics), make sure you realize that if the computer goes tits up you ARE going to die; there is NO manual in it.
and make sure you don’t fight a lot of other fighters, they can turn better than you…
