Pretty Certain This Will Not Be the Plot of a “007” Movie

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The prosecution rested Thursday, Aug. 18 in the trial of two men accused of plotting to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

The prosecution rested after testimony from an undercover FBI agent with supposed access to explosives.

Special agent Tim Bates, [[Get it?]] known as “Red,” said he joined alleged conspirators – in three vehicles [[How he accomplished that we’ll never know…]] — in a night-time reconnaissance mission in September 2020 to the governor’s place in Elk Rapids.

He said that those in another vehicle drove by the governor’s house but had the wrong street number and could not find it during that trip.

Being lost on your mission is a pretty good indication you have an FBI agent in your midst.
