White House Mocked for Promising ‘Better America’ With Joe Biden Corvette Photo

“Get in, folks. We’re building a better America,” the message posted on social media read, featuring Biden in his classic Corvette.

The post sparked widespread mockery online, as voters pointed out high gas prices, a falling stock market, growing inflation, and other problems in the country under his leadership.

That car pollutes more sitting there, turned off, than my 2016 car does driving down the highway. My (and all) modern cars have sealed fuel systems. They don’t evaporate gasoline into the air. Unburned gasoline is the worst form of pollution humans produce, whether it be poured onto the ground, into water, or allowed to evaporate. That ’60s Vette doesn’t have a sealed fuel system. It is continuously evaporating gasoline into the air.
Note that the basis for this statement is a similar one in Car and Driver made about the original Mustang and the model that came out in the 2000’s that had the retro look of the original.
