Pelosi Says Election Fight ‘Not About Inflation’
The Hill | 10/23/2022 | Julia Mueller

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Sunday said the midterm election fight should be focused on cost of living rather than the global problem of inflation.

“When I hear people talk about inflation… we have to change that subject...” Pelosi said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” with Margaret Brennan. ” . . . The fight is not about inflation. It’s about the cost of living.”

  1. Sure we can talk about cost of living… What outrageously priced thing we all buy to live would she like to discuss? Gas, food, housing, cars? Would she like to discuss how wages have not come even close to keeping up with the cost of living, pretty much for as long as she has been in office?

  2. Yesterday: “Sex and gender are two different things.”
Today: “Inflation and cost of living are two different things.”
Tomorrow: “Voting and elections are two different things.”

  3. Says the woman who went on television during the pandemic to show us all her huge freezer filled with expensive ice cream. What is it with these democratic politicians? Do they see ice cream as some kind of external community organizing tool? With as many people suffering from Diabetes, Heart Disease, Lactose Intolerance, et al, it’s pretty hurtful that they’re stuffing their faces with things a lot of Americans can’t eat or can’t afford. Where are the SJW’s fighting for the rights of these people not to be taunted by things they can no longer have. If they can’t have it surely no one else should be able to have it either. (this was sarcasm, just in case someone missed it).
