The problem was discovered when the firm notified [the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service] that they received consumer complaints reporting findings of “mirror-like” material in ground beef products purchased from grocery stores.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them.
I have often considered mealtimes to be an opportunity for quiet reflection, but this is taking it a bit too far.
I purchased $12 worth just 2 days ago at HEB and already froze it but with Taco Tuesday coming up I’ll be damned if I’m throwing it away.
Also be on the look out for ground beef products that are produced in some mad lab experiment. Remember, to be safe see the cow, kill the cow before you eat the cow.
At these prices, no wonder people want to chrome some groceries to show their friends and family…
