“Ah Miss Derek we seem to be missing something.”
“Sorry sir, just no cartoons this week I’m afraid.”
“That’s it?”
“Yes, was there something else?”
“Errr, no, no. Nothing comes to mind.”
“I’m afraid we have to make do with some classic Rodney Dangerfield.”
“Huh? What? Sorry, I was distracted. Proceed.”
Rodney was a one of the great old school comedians. He must have had 1,000 or more one-liners. He didn’t do characters, or ad lib, or slapstick, or social commentary. He was really a one-trick pony – but it was one hell of a trick that he honed to absolute perfection.
