Basil has been a regular visitor to IMAO since 2004, and began blogging on his own blog late that year just to see if he could. (Spoilers: he can’t.) Nevertheless, he’s been a contributor at IMAO since 2008. Most of his involvement with IMAO is behind the scenes, although he does occasionally contribute posts.
Basil is a Georgia native and resident, an Army veteran, and as such, offers a slightly different perspective on things. He also posts on his own blog every now and then for some reason.
His name is pronounced “Basil” but many people make the mistake of pronouncing it “Basil.” Don’t make that mistake.
